Japanese Viewing Structure
The view of Mt. Hood from this structure is unbelievable and
the inspiration for it's construction. Modeled after a structure
in Portland's Japanese Garden, this building is made of clear
redwood cedar and every joint is traditional mortise and tenon.
The front beams are resting on large rocks as is the post supporting
the bench. The structure is accompanied by several decorative
screens to ad privacy to the yard but still keep it open. Select
plantings of bamboo finish off the look of the yard. |
